I hope you are flying into El Nido from Puerto Princessa. Otherwise you are in for one arduous Palawan massage! That's local speak for a long journey by rough roads in vehicles with broken shocks!
In all honesty though once outside of the city the island of Palawan is an unspoiled oasis. I was there last year and loved it...even in mid summer.
