I am trying to remember if I needed anything from my wife when I got
mine and I can't recall anything, as long as I have a copy of my
marriage certificate. Are you still married? Even in the US? I
think that you would have to claim that you were. Of course, if you
mislead immigration, regain your status and your wife decides she
doesn't like this, she might be able to cause problems for you. My
basic instinct is to say that if you are married, you are married.
The state of the marriage should be irrelevant. Maybe, hopefully,
moving back will help you rebuild your marriage.
